Anchor links are the primary way to show concise content. An Anchor link is a replicable content type that dependent on Headings.
- Editors can use the same Anchor links on different pages such as FAQs or pages where you need to access
- Multiple Anchor links can be listed on each page but is not recomended
- Anchor links can provide descriptive content in addition to, or instead of, resources/accordion tabs
Adding & Editing Anchor links
There are two ways to add and edit Anchor links: from the Content Tab or directly through one of the relevant page types.
Adding - From Content Tab
- To add a new Anchor link to edit, first visit the Content Tab.
- Click "+Add Content" button, and choose " Anchor links"
- Fill out Title. This is a required field and will not appear on the Anchor link as a header.
- When you are done, click the "Save" button at the top.
- In order to get the Anchor links to appear you must use the content type “Header”. It only links to the header content type and does not recognize headers within text blocks.
- Your Accordion tab is now available to be added to the Basic and Cohort pages when you are ready.
Editing - From Content Tab
- To find an existing Anchor link to edit, first visit the Content Tab.
- Next, search for the Anchor link by name in the "Title" search bar, or you can choose " Anchor links Tab" in the Content type filter. Hit "Filter.
- Once you have found your tab, click on the title, and then click Edit.
- The only changes you can make here is removing or adding an anchor link
- In oreder to add new links you will have to add new Headers
