When logged into a CLF site with the Site Manager role, you can update and edit menus at /admin/structure/menu.

There are 5 default menu options.

  1. Administration - This menu contains all links associated with the backend portal. This menu should not be edited. Please reach out to [email protected] if there is a link in the portal you would like updated.
  2. Footer - This menu updates links in the footer.
  3. Main Navigation - This menu is for the main navigation of your site typically located at the top of your site and in the mobile menu display.
  4. Tools - This menu is for utility or tool links that may show up above your main menu.
  5. User Account Menu - This menu is for the section of your site that requires authentication (e.g., intranets, private knowledge bases).

Editing menu links

Menu links can be edited by opening the menu you wish to edit, and selecting the “edit” option to the right of the menu link.

Rearranging links

Links can be reordered or nested by dragging the 4 arrow icon and pressing save.

Only 3 level nesting is allowed in the main menu. However, it is recommended to avoid 3 levels if possible to present a simpler navigation structure to your users.
